Twelve years ago, after earning a master’s degree in art history, Bea emigrated from the UK to the US for love. She initially made a living as an arts journalist.

Later, she enjoyed a decade-long full-time career in development communications at the University of Pennsylvania. Her writing work there spanned arts and heritage, business and science.
